A simple challenge, Cardiff to Tenby “100 miles, on a bike, in a day”.
Not a race, not a sportive, just a ride to Tenby!
Entry Details
At the end of November we launch the CARTEN100 Entry Form via our newsletter, 24 hours prior to the website and social media launch.
We will open an online event booking form to operate on a first come first serve basis. Payment is also online, and your ride place is only guaranteed upon receipt of your order and payment. Once payment is received you will receive confirmation.
Your shirt order and ride number will be posted to your address 4 weeks ahead of the ride and not before. Please ensure you are entering your address correctly when booking your place. If you need to change your mailing address for the 2023 CARTEN100, please contact us at info@carten100.com by Friday 14th April 2023 at the latest. After this date there can be no changes as the mailing will be being prepared by a third party.
The biggest change our riders will see in 2023 will be our first finishers ‘Neck Buff’ rather than a t-shirt – see below. We will still have previous years surplus finishers t shirts available to buy at our finishers marquee as well as our new 2023 poster design.
2023 Cycle Jersey
All riders are expected to wear a CARTEN100 cycle jersey on the ride, but of course you can wear your jersey from an earlier year.
Our CARTEN100 cycling jerseys are made from a technically advanced lightweight, soft and breathable fabric. The cycle jerseys have many features including elastic cuffs, silicone gripper hem and 3 rear pockets of which one is zipped as well as a full-length front zipper. These shirts are normal fit, not race fit, so choose your normal shirt chest size. The new design with 2023 sponsors will be launched in December.
We do however have our Buff design, based on Spokes Ale design, which will match the 2023 jersey.
Catering For Your Every Need!
Entry for the 2023 CARTEN100 this year will include a finishers ‘buff’, access to our feed stations along the route and a meal at the finish Pavilion in Tenby Harbour. (We do have a vegetarian option available).
Our feed stations provide bananas, energy drinks, energy bars and water. Each feed station will also have additional food available to purchase, such as breakfast rolls in Baglan, filled rolls and cakes in Bury Port, fruit and chocolate bars in Carmarthen and beer in Tavernspite! Vegetarian options are available.
Riders will also have access to ride support vehicles, mechanical support and first aid posts if needed. You are also insured third party via British Cycling.
