What happens to my application
Your application will be considered by the trustees and successful applications will be informed after the 1st November.
Any awards made will be provided after the 2023 CARTEN100 ride.
Can I talk to someone before making an application?
We are sorry we cannot discuss or consider a potential application or project before an application is made via our online application form
How long will the process take?
The application process to be one of the recipients of CARTEN100 Spokes Foundation funding starts in April the year before the fundraising ride.
Applications to the Spokes Foundation will be open until the end of June of that Year (A 5 month window). After 1st November successful applications will be informed.
Will I be informed if my application is unsuccessful?
We will respond to all applications. However our funding is limited and focused on delivering value to the South Wales corridor. Please bear this in mind with your application.

For 2023 the Spokes Foundation will be supporting the following charities.
Who can apply?
The CARTEN100 Spokes Foundation will consider grants to charities, community groups and sports clubs along the route of the CARTEN100 but also from Gwent, so covering the whole of South Wales.
We will not support grants to individuals.
How to apply to The Spokes Foundation for a grant?
Applications for CARTEN100 2024 will open on 1st April 2023 and close on 31st August 2023.
Applications can be made from this website below.
We will let recipients know if they have been successful after the 1st November 2023 and announce to the public with the launch of the ride later that month.
